AUDIOBOOKS

Madness of Crowds.jpg

Thought provoking as ever from Douglas. Interesting hearing his perspective (as a gay man) on the LGBT rainbows etc movement and the questionable morality behind encouraging children to have gender reassignment surgery. As ever he narrates his own work, which gives you a greater insight into how he feels about a subject.

Norse Mythology.jpg

I absolutely loved this book. I'm fascinated by ancient myths and legends and this was a great way to learn about Norse mythology. It's a collection of short stories, each 10 to 30 minutes as I recall. I listened to one every morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Neil narrates it so well, you really feel the personalities of Thor, Loki and the rest of characters.

Black Genesis.jpg

You've heard of Stonehenge, but I bet you've never heard of Nabata Playa, the calendar circle in the Nubian desert believed to have been built around 7,500 BC by the ancestors of the ancient Egyptians. Whilst I found the narration a bit hard going, the topic itself is fascinating. We're discovering so much about the ancient past now that "History" can't keep up.
